I'm a Strange Cat

    As I alluded to in my previous post, I guess the right word that comes to mind even more now--as I do more audio recordings--that you have to have stamina.     That's the right word: stamina. I was probably editing my audio recording yesterday for about 12 hours or more all-in-all, but I had to take some breaks--not just to eat, but also because I genuinely just needed one. I had to listen to certain passages which I had recorded a few extra times because of either mistakes or ambient noise that I ended up wanting to take the best of each iteration, if possible, and mash that up into the final recording. But when you're in the middle of doing all that, it's like the hours fly by without me noticing.     It feels genuinely freeing to get to the end of that recording work and be able to say "It's finished".
